Amadeus Rewards

The focus of this training course is the administration of Amadeus Rewards conversion rules. Those rules are administered through the Cash to Miles conversion module which is part of the Amadeus FareXpert filing platform. Conversion rates defined in these rules can convert currency based fare or Ancillary Service amounts into Miles / Points. Then airline frequent flyer members can book air travel and choose to settle the price of a ticket or an Ancillary Service in currency, in Miles, or a combination of both.

On this course you will learn how to:

Distinguish between 'Flight Rewards' (full redemption) and 'Cash & Miles' flows.
Access the FareXpert filing platform.
Launch the FareXpert based Cash to Miles conversion rules module.
Administer Cash to Miles conversion rules.
Create new rules or duplicate existing rules.
Differentiate conversion rules targeting commercial fares versus marginal fares.
Configure rules with Cash boundaries.
Work with Point Offsets (static charts).
Update exisiting rules with effective and discontinuation dates.
Grant adhoc Miles discounts.
Differentiate the conversion logic of fares, Ancillary Services and Taxes.

How to access the FareXpert Cash to Miles conversion rules module.
How to administer Cash to Miles conversion rulesbased on real-life use cases.
How to differentiate conversion rules targeting revenue fares from rules targeting full redemption fares.

Basic understanding of Amadeus Rewards flow solutions.
Basic understanding of Fares & Pricing.
An implemented RefX online booking flow. This course is only suitable for airlines who have migrated. If your online flows are still based on e-Retail DX and the migration to RefX is not yet planned, then refer to our 'Digital Awards' training course.
