Taxi

Taxis in Bangkok are fixed with a meter and have a sign "TAXI-METER" on the roof.

The minimum fare is 35 Baht for a distance of no more than 1 km. then the rates are per km. In case of traffic, rate is 2 Baht per minute.

Toll way and express way tickets must be paid by the passengers.

BTS

BTS Skytrain operates from 06:00 a.m. - 24:00 p.m. every day.

The fares range from 17 to 62 baht per journey.

The closest station to Amadeus Asia office is either Chitlom station or Ploenchit station, a short walk away.

MRT

The underground rail system operates from 06:00 a.m. - 24:00 p.m. every day.
The fares range from 17 to 62 baht per journey.
The closest station to Amadeus Asia office is Lumpini station which is a short taxi ride or 15 minutes walking distance.

Tuk Tuk

This is a three-wheeler taxi without a meter or air-conditioning.
Fares must be negotiated beforehand.
They are normally a little cheaper than ordinary taxis and are suitable for short trips only.

Motorcycle or biker taxi

You can negotiate the Bangkok traffic as a pillion rider.
Normally, a motorcycle station can be found at the entrance to a Soi (lane).
Fares are about the same as Tuk Tuk except during rush hours when they may cost a bit more.
These rides are optimum for short distances from point to point.
The bikers wear a red/orange jacket and can be identified easily.
